Author: ENGINES OF DESIRE
Co-Author: IMAGINARY LINES

A born expatriate, Linton Robinson lived much of his early life in Asia, cultivating a lifelong taste for the third world and appreciation of frontiers. A writer from grade school and publisher/editor in high school, he has been a professional writer since his early twenties, winning awards as a journalist and feature writer for magazines like Harpers, American Photographer, Science, and Penthouse, as well as urban newspapers from Washington to California. Since the late eighties, Lin has lived in Mexico, Latin America, and the California border area. He writes for publications in Mexico and is author of several books on Mexican travel, Spanish, and Mexican slang, as well as volumes of poetry.

The pieces in IMAGINARY LINES were a unique collaboration with the notoriously publicity-shy Ana Maria Corona; his neighbor, colleague, and good friend. James Holman, publisher of the San Diego Reader declared Robinson "the best stylist I have ever read," and Ms. Corona "a uniquely elegant and eloquent story-teller". Adoro Books is extremely pleased to initiate our publication history with their beautiful, insightful work.

We are also proud to present Lin's FLESH WOUNDS, not only because of the lacerating and memorable nature of the writing, but because it's a perfect marriage of content with format: the exciting new kind of eBook being pioneered here.

Lin is also the producer of the video "trailers" for IMAGINARY LINES and FLESH WOUNDS, the latter a collaboration with musician Duane Pesice of Planet Moderan
